Mystery Shop at very popular cafe

Fancy a free lunch or dinner at a popular cafe, plus get paid $25?

On Saturday I took the family for lunch at a popular international brand Cafe (cant say the name) on the Gold Coast to do a mystery shop. The shop covered having a drink at the bar, an entree, main meal and dessert, and then making a purchase from their gift shop. (Allowance for the shop was $15 for the bar, $85 for the meal and $20 for the gift shop)

The meal was very nice and everyone had a great time, all up it was a great way to kick off a long weekend. I had to complete a post shop survey of about 120 questions and write a brief overview of my opinion of the cafe and service. Payment was $25 for this.

Mystery Shopping Assignment Brisbane CBD

AMR Interactive are a sister company of HOED Mystery Shopping.

AMR are looking for a friendly, competent and reliable individual who will be trained as a face-to-face interviewer for this particular project. The successful applicant will be well presented and have a professional manner.

? The project will run between Monday 27th September and Friday 1st October 2010 in the Brisbane CBD – Qld.

Hours of work are between 9:30 and 17:00 Monday to Friday. Times are flexible depending on personal circumstances, however a minimum of 3-4 hours are required each day.

70 interviews need to be achieved (i.e. approximately 15 per day)

? Rate of pay is $24.47 per hour
? Travel $0.69/km OR public transport remuneration, if no car

You will be supervised on the first two days of fieldwork. Support will be provided via telephone correspondence for the remaining days.

Mystery Shopping Hints Tips What to Do with the Free Products

When you do regular Mystery Shopping assignments you tend to start accumulating products that you have purchased and been reimbursed for as part of the evaluation of a retail store. So what do you do with all the free products?

Well, you could eat, drink, wear or give them away, but you might also consider whether you can on sell them to someone who might be interested.

I have been doing assignments for liquor stores assessing their staffs ability to be able to recommend and sell various wines. The payment for the assignment is between $10-15 and you get to spend $15-25 on a bottle which you get to keep.

Rather than just drink the wine, I guess thats an option, but I have been finding friends, family etc that like wine and on selling them for half price. They get a bargain and I get between $7 and $14 extra for the assignment. The assignment takes you about 20 minutes, so you can really up your hourly rate return with this extra money.

We are looking for someone to conduct a project this weekend on behalf of the Child Support Agency which will involve conducting one on one interviews (approximately 30 mins – 1 hr each) with customers about their perceptions of communications with the CSA.

We need someone residing close to the Mount Gravatt area who is:

• Has one on one (in-depth) interviewing experience if possible

A local venue in Mount Gravatt has been hired out where you will be stationed and people will come to you – so no travel is involved.

Australian Mystery Shoppers How You can earn an extra 5 10 for each assignment

If you have been doing Mystery Shopping to make extra money or a small part time income then you will know that every dollar you can get makes it just that extra bit worth it. So here is a fairly simple way to add an extra $1 to every assignment that you do without having to do any extra work.

When you conduct a Mystery Shop you are normally required to prepare a written summary of the shopping experience to complete the assignment.

Word of Mouth Online (WOMO) is an Australian customer review web site that pays you to provide reviews of stores and services. Interesting assignment today, a mystery shopping company that I joined a few weeks ago asked me to do an evaluation at a bank branch to assess the performance of their clients service and sales staff. The assignment took me about 20 minutes in the branch and afterwards a quick survey that took about 10 minutes to complete. The fee for the mystery shop was $25 plus travel expenses.

They have a few assignments for me coming up next week, evaulating a car sales office and a department store. If you are interested in the name of the mystery shopping company, send me an email and Ill let you know where to join.

I have been lucky enough to get this assignment a few times, and I would have to say it has been one of my very favourites.

Which Mystery Shopping Sites to Join

I have been doing quite a bit of mystery shopping over the last month. I have been finding that you can make about $100-150 per day if you get yourself organised.

Youll be testing the sales performance of retail shops, liquor outlets, fast food, and test driving cars....youll get cash and sometimes you get to keep products or have a free meal.

Which ones would I recommend joining?

• Hoed (much better since they upgraded their web site)
• GapBuster (easy, lots of assignments)
• Retail Mystery Shopping Australia (lots of assignments)
• Coredata (not so many assignments, but the rewards are really good)
• The Realise Group (not as easy to use as the others, but still has quite a few assignments)

Australian Quality Monitors Telephone Mystery Shopping

Telephone Call Mystery Shopping Assignment are great if you are looking to make some extra money and you dont have the time or you want to travel to do mystery shopping assignments.

They generally dont pay as much as a walk in assignment but they are generally quick and easy.

Normally you are given a scenario to follow and you either make or receive a call from the mystery shopping target. You should expect to get anywhere between $6 and $15 per call and generally speaking you will get a few phone calls per assignment.

I have done many telephone mystery shopping assignments with Australian Quality Monitors on businesses such as including medical, utilities adn insurance. The assignments are easy to complete and in the most recent job I did 3 x 10 minutes calls and received $37 for my efforts. 

Other market research companies that I have done telephone (and email) assignments for are Hoed, Retail Mystery Shopping Australia and Shop Angels.

Mystery Shopping Assignments with Your iPhone

Do you have an iPhone?

The Realise Group has launched a new program where you can download an app for your iPhone and get posted Mystery Shopping jobs based on your location. Apparently they are shorter they regular mystery shopping assingments and may only involve taking a photo or recording some information rather than having to speak with anyone.

Sounds interesting, I dont have an iPhone though, if anyone gives it a try I am happy to hear how it goes.
